In 2007, SCRMCA changed its name and is now known as the Southern California Concrete Producers (SCCP).
The organization's objective is to provide an instrument through which the members can coordinate their efforts in the handling of issues of common concern in the industry; to establish and maintain the highest standards of business practices, customs and usages among its members, to promote the use of concrete in new as well as conventional ways, and to perform such acts and services for the industry and its members as may be more efficiently performed by group, rather than by individual action.
